fitting everything in the car

We are moving. I love those words. We are moving to Torontoto (reminds me of Amelie, "Ber-to-to, not Ber-to-deau" - aren't the french cute).

I love the sorting and organizing and labelling - I even labelled with a typewriter this time would you believe.

But now the challenge is to fit it all in the car. In the sedan. Do you take the Balderdash and leave the perfect glasslock leftovers dish? Do you toss that large pair of wedges or the hair-straightener? - all of which I barely use - but may start to use more. And which one will really make the difference? One friend suggested turning everything into it's liquid states for efficient transportation.

Why did I buy 7 litres of dish soap? And will I regret it when I get there and run out of dish soap? If we get rid of the laundry bin we can just use dirty pillowcases for laundry keeping. Anyone have any suggestions?

woo hoo! moving rocks! but it is hard. i got rid of so much that i miss now. but it really is super easy to accumulate new stuff. if all else fails, shipping by canada post is surprisingly cheap-ish. have fun!! drive safe!

thanks for the suggestions Erin! Some how having to ship the miscellaneous bits makes me feel like I've failed as a packer. No? I don't want to miss anything. But yes? you find you miss the things you tossed?
